Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the structure and infrastructure such as roads, bridges, canals, dams and buildings. The Department of Civil Engineering in our college was established in the academic year 2010-11 with intake of 60. The Department has committed itself to the proclaimed pledged of producing quality civil engineering professionals by the virtue of its very competent faculty members and state-of-the-art laboratories. The Department currently has 6 faculty members with a vision to prepare the competent engineers in the field of Civil Engineering. The major areas of interest of the faculties include Water Resource Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Environmental Engineering etc.

The vision of the Department of Civil Engineering at the BACET is to become a centre of excellence in the field of research and innovation in Civil Engineering and ultimately contribute in nation building.

Mission

The Department constantly updates the departmental resources by upgrading faculty through proper training and acquiring advanced equipments. It also inculcates the feelings of service to humanity in the minds of students to serve the society better.
